Only local this month. Lubbock MLS data showed 1377 “For Sale” listings at the end of October. This is up from 1298, YoY. In a hint as to market-size and velocity, the 3.7 Months of Inventory is exactly the same as October 2017. Not so on the Luxury space (>$400k), where total inventory was down to 202, versus 213 YoY. That equates to a decrease in Months of Inventory in Luxury, from 10.1 last year down to 7.2 in October 2018.
Our Mover-moving index had quite a month with 146 transactions. Looks like folks are getting ready for a busy spring. See attached.
